Vendor Price Protection Entry |
Last Revised: 07/18/13 |
Vendor Price Protection Entry is used to lower the cost of on-hand inventory when a vendor lowers the price of a particular item stocked. The application can be used to provide a vendor-given credit on an account. The program will reduce inventory costs, post them to the appropriate General Ledger account, and increase the credit to that General Ledger account. The account for price protection can be specified on the GLU menu in the G/L Interface Maintenance.
The operator must:
- Specify the vendor number.
- Specify the claim number.
