Salesperson Inquiry

Salesperson Inquiry displays a wealth of information associated with each salesperson on file in Dynamo. Such information can be useful for determining salesperson bonuses, guiding performance reviews, or simply comparing performance among multiple salespersons. Salespersons can be edited and created in Customer Maintenance & Listings under Salesman Maintenance.

 

Choose a Salesperson

 

Upon entering Salesperson Inquiry, the operator is prompted to select a salesperson. If known, the salesperson number may be typed in. Alternatively, press the F2 key to select the record from a list of all available salespersons. Once a salesperson is chosen, a list of available report types is displayed.

 

 

 

 

 

Sales by Period

 

This option lets the operator view salesperson statistics—such as number of sales, total sales dollars, and gross margin percentages—grouped by months, quarters, or years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sales & Charts

 

This option allows for generation of charts of all sales for each year the salesperson has been with the company. The charts can also be generated for an individual product category or product class, costed sales, rentals, etc. Once the report type is selected, a chart is produced and opened in a browser window for viewing and easy printing or saving. As seen in the slideshow below, the output compares year-to-year sales figures with month-to-month figures over the course of the past year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Orders, Invoices and Quotes

 

The remaining three options—Orders, Invoices, and Quotes—will display all sales orders, invoices, or quotes that are associated with the current salesperson. Each view displays the date, status, sales order or invoice number (when applicable), branch code, warehouse code, the PO#/Reference field, and order value for each selection type.
